Ru's Drama

Ru was a little bit grumpy in the afternoon. The blonde had a strong desire to spend an afternoon shopping, just buying things for the sake of it, strolling around, trying on clothes, taking photos, eating, laughing, having a good time, and that’s it. But she couldn’t.

-Ru, you should start cultivating some friendships and meeting new people- her younger sister said, sighing and leaning back on the bed next to her with a book in her hands.

-But I can’t- Ru replied. -It’s impossible to make friends when you’re like me.

Rosi rolled her eyes. As a true Eason, this was the moment before Ru launched into an incredibly long monologue about how beautiful, unattainably perfect, elegant, fun, interesting, intelligent, and otherworldly gorgeous she was. However, her sister remained silent. Rosi hugged her.

-Why can’t you, silly girl? You’re a lovely crazy person. I’m sure you’d make lots of friends if you try.

Ru stared at the ceiling as if gazing into infinity. Her voice sounded deep and dramatic, almost with a poetic and philosophical air. The eldest Eason parted her lips, and Rosi expected an argument that would help her explore her beloved sister’s soul.

-Can you imagine making friends and then having them stop talking to me because inevitably their brothers, fathers, and boyfriends fall madly in love with me? Or imagine someone wanting to impress a guy, but that guy can only look at me because I’m indisputably more beautiful than her?- Ru sighed as if she were the victim of a tragedy. Rosi muttered a curse and stormed out of the room.

Ru sat up and looked in the mirror.

-A true Eason. Too perfect.
