Last night, as I snacked in the kitchen, Enzo snuck up behind me and gave me a tight hug, burying his nose in my neck. It felt so good, so I hugged him back and felt a wave of happiness and relaxation wash over me from such a simple gesture.
"You know I love it when you hug me like that, right?" I whispered to him.
Feeling his warm hand on my neck after saying that made me bite my lip, and I knew where this was going from here.
“I just love you so much!” My sincere smile made me realize how grateful I was to have him.
“I love you more” he said back
