You can easily start touring in your first days of being a muscian.
To make it fun and not too much stress, here are some pointers for you:
Book shows at least 2 weeks ahead.
As long as you have no fame
Be sure you get ticket prices around 5$
And take as rider just towels or beverages.
Set your show ambition under touring preference on "Chill out"
because doing shows costs you health and unless you have the right ksills it will take long to gain health back.
To perpare a tour take at least 10 songs.
If you start out just use cover songs from the radio charts.
Check your genre radio charts and check out those songs that are marked with a white cross.
Those songs entered the charts just newly and will stay on top of popularity for a while.
Add those cover songs to your repertoire that are high in quality and high popularity but have not yet more fame than popularity.
The instruments do not matter at this point.
Those you ahve to define two stage roles. No matter if you have already the skills, define defintely two stage roles. And buy the matching instruments for that.
Start jamming the songs.
Be careful jamming costs mood. So don't overdue it.
Once you have reached 4.25* you will be able to jam them to 100%
before that they can't be fully jammed.

If you have enough money buy the cheapest tourvehicle. It will be a perfect way to get from one twon to the next.
just make sure you set the tour prefences on "Automatic" for travelling to shows and yourself on "go with tourbus".
Do not play more than twice in the same town for at least 56 days.
